Introduction

Haryana Government has established a Trust namely “Haryana Parivar Suraksha Nyas” as an unit of Finance Department under the provisions of the Indian Trust Act, 1862 to consolidate lakhs of beneficiaries of the existing insurance schemes of various Government departments under one roof to avoid duplication of beneficiaries, effective implementation of schemes and saving additional cost to the state exchequer. This Trust has registered on 13th December, 2021. Earlier the budgets for such insurance schemes were allocated to different departments. Various insurance schemes under urban local bodies, accidental insurance scheme, livestock insurance scheme, disability compensation scheme, insurance scheme for traders, insurance schemes under Women and Child Development among others will be covered under this.
